On Sunday my Dad and I drove about 2 1/2 hours north to attend the Special Assembly day. Tait has been sick with a sinus infection and my Mom has been trying to pace herself with the heat, so they stayed behind. It was the first Spanish Assembly that either of us had been to. Their was a new peak attendance for the circuit of 1,533 and five new brothers and sisters were baptized! We got to meet a lot of the friends from the Circuit including several from Cory, Corina and Nyah Goolia's congregation in Santa Cruz. The young brother in the photo with me above had spotted their old car in the parking lot (which is now our car), we hope he wasn't too disappointed when he realized that they hadn't returned... yet. :-)
Towards the end of the day someone asked me if I had a "Spanish headache". More like a Spanish induced coma. Let's just say that I slept really well last night.
Tait is feeling a lot better today and we're looking forward to a full week of spiritual activities. More to come about the ministry, our daily life, and photos of the plants and animals...

It so nice to see you guys smiling faces, and little Kevin's from Santa Cruz ;-) Keep up the great work! I hope Tait gets to feeling better. Tell him to go to the farmacia, they have great stuff!
