Memorial Season

Our last meeting with the Spanish congregation

Hi friends,

We hope that everyone is having a wonderful Memorial season! We've loved hearing all the reports from our friends around the world :-)

We've had a busy couple months in CR. We officially became a congregation on March 1st! The transition has been exciting and a little sad too. It was hard to say goodbye to our friends in the Spanish congregation. But at the same time it has been thrilling to see Jehovah's hand in the growth here in the English field. With our new territory boundaries we took over a city from the English congregation to the north of us that is about a 45 min. drive away . The city has a university and a lot of English speakers. We've been finding a lot of interest and took over quite a few studies from the other congregation. We're working on getting a table set up at the university too. Eventually we'll be making our way down to the south end of our territory (several hours drive) where there is another large English speaking population.

We had four from the field attend the English memorial and Spanish had 124 in attendance!

Tait and I are currently in Seattle working for a couple months. We hope to be able to see as many of our northwest friends as possible while we're here!

Here are a couple recent photos from CR...

  1. Hello, my family and I are coming to visit your congregation for the month of February of 2013. We are so excited to meet you all and work in the ministry. I will be writing the congregation, but fear of snail mail failure it would be nice to have some electronic or phone contacts. We are in need of help locating a rental close to the hall so we may have as full of share in the ministry as possible.

    Much brotherly love,
    The Day Family
